this is a well-run hotel in downtown Prague - it's a little away from the standard tourist hotspots in the old city, but just next to Andel where one can see normal Prague - close to Andel also means that it is fairly well connected with the public transport network as several main connections go through Andel, the breakfast is great - the best I have had in quite some time - as was the quietness of my room - it had really good & soundproof windows keeping all the noise outside - so in short: I was really satisfied to have chosen this hotel

My friend and I stayed 3 nights at the hotel. Overall, it was really good. There was a bathtub that we could use, beds were comfortable, there were 2 elevators and breakfast had a lot of varieties.

We appreciate that we received the king size bed we requested! The room had everything we needed and housekeeping kept everything very clean and nice! The breakfast selection was abundant and tasty, and very nicely presented.

The location is great. Very close to the subway station Andel and from there just a few minutes to the city center. It's also very conveniently placed if you want to drive further to Brno. The hotel is very well maintained, the room was very clean and the sound proofing is probably the best I ever encountered. The breakfast was good and the staff in the restaurant was moving extremely fast, as there were two big groups of tourists at the same time. Front desk service was great, everything went very smooth.

Fabulous hotel. The staff were so friendly. It was my birthday when we stayed and when we arrived back at the hotel that evening the bedroom was decorated with balloons and a cake, and they gave us 20% off our meal in the hotel. Great location, 5 minute walk to a tram stop, and over all a nice hotel!

Travelled for work and had comfortable stay. My windows faced park, so was nice and quiet, located few mins from metro line. Bed was super comfy, although amount of pillows a bit excessive. Was great to have bath in the suite. Breakfast was varied and tasty.

breakfast... Location was superb for us because we came late from the airport and needed to go forward from Na Knizece bus station next day...

The room was comfy, clean and quiet. The breakfast was excellent! Location is within walking distance of a commercial area and the main sights. I recommend going to the vegan restaurant 'pastva' nearby, it was the highlight of our trip!

We recommend Occidental Praha Five for multiple reasons: the rooms were big enough, the staff was all the time willing to help and provide information when requested, the location is close to the city center (both by subway or by foot), the restaurant serves good food (we had both breakfast and the dinner), even when you are travelling with little child, as it was our case. Thank you!

The staff was exceptionally responsive. Whenever we encountered a problem, they were really quick in finding a solution. The room was good with one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've come across. The breakfast was also nice, with lots of options to chose from.
